  • Sapinuds is commonly known as Indian Soapberry or Ritha.
  • It belongs to the family of Sapindaceae.
  • It is a tree that grows on foothills and midhills.
  • This Ritha  seeds are used in Ayurvedic Medicine.

  • Sapinuds plant gives us Soap nuts, these soap nuts are  used as non-toxic laundry detergent.
  • Reetha  nuds are also used to wash Hair.
  • The value of this soapnuts areused in many Pharmacologicaland cleansing purpose.











  • Sopanuts contains the compound of saponin, which has natural cleansing properties and can be used as a cleanser for hair, skin and clothing.
