Senna Plant
- Senna plant is much branched Shrub with cinnamon brown bark, it belongs to the flowering family of "Fabaceae" and Subfamily to "Caesalpinioideae".
- Senna Auriculata is Commonly known Tangedu("the poor mans flower"), Sinhala, avarike and Avaram senna etc.,.

- It is called as "Tangedu puvvu" in telangana state and also used at Flower festival called "Bathukamma".

- It also tolerates drought and dry conditions, these flowers are very attractive and leaves have laxative properties
