Azadirachta indica(Neem tree)

  




  • The latin name of Neem tree is Azadirachta is derived from "Persian", Azad means "Free", dirakht means "tree".
  • Neem plant leaves has been used as Traditional medicine for their Primary health care.








  • Azadirachtha is also known as Neem tree.
    • It belongs to Mahogany family Meliaceae.
    • Neem tree is native to Indian Subcontinent and most of thte countries in Africa.
    • It is a Fast growing tree and valued as Medicinal plant.
