• Celosia Argentea is Commonly known as Plumed Cockscomb or Silver Cockscomb, is a herbaceous plant of tropical origin and known for its bright Color.
• It belongs to the family of Amarnathaceae.
• Silver Cockscomb blooms in mid-spring to summer.
• The Celosia Argentea Seeds are Extremely small, upto 43000 seeds per Ounce.

• Celosia grows best in full Sunlight, as  these plants are of tropical origin and they should be placed in well-drained area.

  

• Celosia  used in African countries to help growth of the parasitic Striga plant. It can also be used in Soaps.

  

• Celosia flowers are used in one of the Festivals of Indian Traditional festive Called Bathukamma("Festival of Flowers"), Bathukamma is highly Celebrated at Every part of  "Telanagana" State (A state in India).
