Phyllanthus Emblica

 


  • Emblica plant is commonly known as Indian gooseberry or Amla, from the sanskrit amalaki.
  • It belongs to the family of Phyllathaceae.
  • The tree is small to medium size.
  • The leaves are closely set along light green color.










  • Amla is a subtropical plant and prefers dry climate.
  • This crop can  tolerate Salinity.
  • Amla has been identified to be a potent antixiodant and antistress.
  • Fruit has richest source of  Vitamin C. 








  • It is good demanded form the industries for the preparations of various health care products like hair oil, shampoo, dye, face creams and tooth powder.
  • Most importantly it is a good liver tonic.

  • Sapinuds is commonly known as Indian Soapberry or Ritha.
  • It belongs to the family of Sapindaceae.
  • It is a tree that grows on foothills and midhills.

Ocimum tenuiflorum

  • Ocimum tenuiflorum is commonly known as "Holy Basil" or "Tulsi".
  • It is an aromatic perennial plant in the family of  Lamiaceae.
  • It is native to Indian Subcontinent and widespread as cultivated plant.
  • In Indian you can find Holy Basil in Each house.

Abutilon Indicum

 


  • Abutilon Indicum is alos called as Indian Mallow is a small shrub in the family of  Malvaceae.
  • It is an Ornamental plant, its roots and leaves being used for curing fevers.
  • It has been called with different names in different languages, in Hindi has "Kanghai", Telugu has "Duvvena benda", Tamil has "Thuthi" and Kannada has "TuThThi gida".









  • Abutilon is a Broadleaf Evergreens in Mallow family.
  • It is widely naturalized in warmer regions and it is a Serious Agricultural weed.
  • It ha s a bushy growth, root rot holds the intake nutrients, and Abutilon leaves begin to turn yellow.

Solanum Xanthocarpum

 



  • Solanum Xanthocarpum is also called as "Yellow-berried Nightshade", Thai green eggplant.
  • It belongs to the family of Solanaceae, its Common name is Kantakari.
  • Kantakari is found well versed in India, often on roadside in open space.
  • This plant is cultivated in Himalayas, Malasia and Austrlia region.

  • The Ayurvedic name of Solanum is "Kantakari", the branches of kantakari are spreading on ground.
  • This plant has numerous branches with dense stellate tomentum and prickles.
  • The kantakari plant is widely distributed in Dry situation by roadsides and Wastelands.
